Our name, is drawn from the Via Aurelia, the Roman road that once connected Rome to Spain. Just as this road symbolised timeless connection, so too does art  -  linking cultures, eras, and people across generations. 

 With a foundation in art history and a sensitivity to the art market, we guide collectors toward extraordinary discoveries, from Old Masters to Contemporary voices. 

Beyond curation, our creativity extends to children’s literature, where the adventures of Napo, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel—cherished by royalty and immortalized by Titian and Van Dyck—introduce young readers to the wonder of art and storytelling.

Founded by Marta Grigorieva, Art Aurelia brings together scholarship, artistry, and a discerning eye for curation. Marta, a Harvard-educated art historian and Italian Renaissance specialist, built her expertise through years at Christie’s and Sotheby’s in New York, as well as through her training in portraiture with the renowned Nelson Shanks. Her career as a painter—shaped by Italian traditions and commissions for portraits and landscapes—provides the foundation for Art Aurelia’s distinctive approach.

Today, under Marta’s direction, Art Aurelia specializes in curating and supplying yachts, private homes, and collections with paintings that complement each client’s aesthetic and environment. This fusion of art history and creative practice ensures that every work—whether sourced from the market or commissioned—carries timeless value and personal resonance.
